Street Scene 1

Early 1900's postcard showing west 11th street looking NW. The house on the right was constructed in the late 1880's by CY Trice. In March 1906 it was bought by former Mayor and Sheriff S.P. Finley who eventually turned it in to a first rate boarding house. Finely died in 1928. His wife Elizabeth sold the house to Robert Barth in 1943. She moved in to one of the cottages to the east of the big house. The large home was destroyed by a fire in 1948. The BC Sr Center is there now. The other historic house on the left is known as the Arthur Aull House. A better view of this house can be seen here:
