Opera House
Another neat postcard showing the legendary Opera Block. Some called it the Opera House even though no operas were ever performed there. It was constructed around 1880, a time I like to call the "big boom" in Lamar. The railroads came in 1880 and many business' sprung up between 1880-1900. Postmark on back says Feb 1909
